In "The Great Guide 2.5 - The Great Difficult Guide," Choi Daniel and Jeon So-min captivated viewers with their unpredictable chemistry. The second episode of MBC Every1's "The Great Guide 2.5 - The Great Difficult Guide," aired on the 4th, introduced the first journey to Baekdu Mountain, starting with a trip to Harbin. Kim Dae-ho took on the role of a customer-tailored guide as a new challenge, traveling together with Choi Daniel and Jeon So-min.
In this episode, Kim Dae-ho sparked viewers' interest through the close relationship between Choi Daniel and Jeon So-min. Especially, the witty back-and-forth between Choi Daniel and Jeon So-min showed strong chemistry, drawing viewers' attention. Jeon So-min suggested to Kim Dae-ho, "If you want to do something, just say it," and proposed creating a group chat. Despite having quit a job because he disliked group living, Kim Dae-ho surprised everyone by personally setting up the group chat.
Choosing Harbin as the first travel destination, Kim Dae-ho showed a delicate side by taking photos of his travel mates and taking out company funds to buy bread when Jeon So-min requested, "I want to eat bread." However, when Choi Daniel spat out the bread he was eating, Jeon So-min caught it with both hands, a scene revealed on the broadcast, prompting Park Myung-soo to suspiciously comment, "Is there really something going on between those two?" Kim Dae-ho also expressed suspicion about their relationship, saying, "They keep acting like that, so I started to get suspicious too."
After dropping off their luggage at the accommodation, the real trip began. Free-spirited Jeon So-min wanted to try various experiences and wandered around here and there. Kim Dae-ho tried to stick to the prepared plan but recalled with laughter, "I really thought I was going crazy" because of Jeon So-min's actions. With Kim Dae-ho's permission, Jeon So-min got the chance to drink 'Geowas,' a bread yeast beverage, on the street. The three became fascinated by the new taste, piquing viewers' curiosity.
On the way to the next destination, Kim Dae-ho spontaneously visited a beer pop-up store. There, for about 2,800 won, they could drink unlimited amounts of 14 different kinds of beer. Kim Dae-ho and Jeon So-min enjoyed the beer and savored the trip. The highlight of the broadcast was the meal at the original Guo Bao Rou restaurant with a history of 118 years. Jeon So-min made everyone laugh by comparing, "If Guo Bao Rou in Korea is Choi Daniel, then Harbin's Guo Bao Rou is Daniel Henney." At first, Choi Daniel was reluctant to try the new food, but after one bite, he praised it highly, saying, "This is the real deal."
In front of Harbin's landmark, St. Sophia Cathedral, tourists wearing princess dresses were everywhere. Jeon So-min's running instinct kicked in, and the three headed to a dress rental shop. Kim Dae-ho respected the opinion of his client, Jeon So-min, and took on a new transformation challenge. The three began their transformation through dresses and makeup. Jeon So-min maintained her beauty even wearing a white wig, and Choi Daniel caught viewers' attention with his transformation into a muscular princess. Kim Dae-ho said, "She looks like the youngest princess," and since his princess transformation was not shown, anticipation for next week's broadcast increased.
At the end of the broadcast, the chaotic travel story of the four, including Hyo-jung joining, heading to Yanji was previewed. This episode provided viewers with various fun and interest, amplifying curiosity for next week's broadcast.
