BTS's Jimin has established a unique presence by setting an unprecedented record as the only K-pop artist on the Spotify US charts. According to Spotify, Jimin has achieved over 600 million cumulative streams on the Spotify US charts. This is the first and only record among K-pop artists.
Jimin is breaking multiple records as the most successful K-pop artist on the Spotify US charts. His second album, MUSE, is recorded as the first and only K-pop album to surpass 450 million streams on the Spotify US charts. This album stayed on the Spotify US Weekly Top Albums chart for 59 weeks, making it the longest-charting K-pop solo album.
Jimin's solo song "Who" became the first and only solo track by a K-pop artist to reach number one on the Spotify US Daily Top Songs chart. On the chart dated October 25, the song charted for 450 days, setting the first and only record for a K-pop solo song. "Who" was also recorded as the first K-pop song to achieve over 400 million cumulative streams on the Spotify US charts on September 7, and it currently ranks 84th on the Spotify US all-time most streamed songs list, the highest position for a K-pop song.
Additionally, Jimin's "Who" reached number 160 on the Billboard Global 200 chart dated November 8, extending the longest-charting K-pop solo song record on that chart to 67 weeks. On the Billboard Global (excluding US) chart, it ranked 110th, making Jimin the first and only Asian solo artist to have multiple songs (Like Crazy & Who) chart for over 67 weeks on this chart.
These achievements further strengthen Jimin's musical influence and solidify K-pop's position in the global market. Jimin is expected to continue setting new records and making history in K-pop.
