V, selected as the model for Japanese beauty brand 'Yoon's'... Anticipation for new face's activities


V has been selected as the new ambassador for the Japanese skincare brand YUNS. On the 29th, YUNS announced through its official account that "V has been chosen as the new face of the brand." This selection was driven by the 'V Effect,' which influences the beauty industries in both Korea and Japan.

YUNS plans to begin full-scale advertising on Japanese TV starting from the 13th. The behind-the-scenes video released alongside showed V's natural demeanor on set, receiving an explosive response from local fans. YUNS is a leading indie beauty brand in Japan, primarily targeting women in their 20s and 30s. Ai Robotics, the operating company, stated, "This contract will mark the start of our global expansion and the implementation of strategies to enhance brand awareness."

Immediately after the news of V's ambassador appointment was announced, Ai Robotics' stock price surged 7.53%, reaching a record high. Several companies featuring V as a model showed remarkable sales growth. The luxury brand CELINE grew by 51% after appointing V, and Richemont, the parent company of Cartier, recorded its highest-ever jewelry sales of 14.2 billion euros (approximately 21.49 trillion KRW) in the fiscal year when V was active (April 2023 to March 2024).

Currently, V is working as a model for various brands including CELINE, Cartier, Coca-Cola, Compose Coffee, Snow Peak, and SimInvest. Notably, he stands at the center of the 'K-Beauty synergy' targeting the global market as the face of both Korean and Japanese beauty brands, TIRTIR and YUNS.

V holds the record for the most followers among Korean male celebrities on Instagram and ranks first in Google Trends and Wikipedia search volume among Asian stars. His fandom and popularity have established him as a 'globally recognized brand power' beyond just an advertising model.

V's appointment as an ambassador is expected to further strengthen his influence in the Japanese beauty market. YUNS plans to increase brand awareness and accelerate global market entry through collaboration with V. V's fan base is also strong in Japan, and this advertising campaign is anticipated to generate a positive response from local consumers.

A beauty industry insider said, "V's influence goes beyond simple modeling activities and directly impacts brand image and sales." V's ambassador role is expected to solidify the cooperative relationship between the Korean and Japanese beauty industries.

V is further solidifying his position as a global star, and his ambassador activities will continue through collaborations with various brands. V's brand power will remain a key factor in the marketing strategies of many companies going forward.
