HYBE Global Group &TEAM has achieved a double crown on Korean music shows. On November 5, &TEAM took first place on MBC M's "Show! Champion" with the title track "Back to Life" from their Korean mini-album. This marked their second trophy following their first-place win on SBS M's "The Show," firmly establishing their presence in the K-pop scene right after their Korean debut.
Leader Eui-joo expressed gratitude to fans, saying, "Thanks to LUNÉ, we received our first award on 'Show! Champion.' Every day since our Korean debut feels like a dream. We are truly thankful." He also added, "We will become &TEAM that can repay your love and support." The members conveyed thanks in four languages—Korean, Japanese, English, and Chinese—showcasing their identity as a global group.
&TEAM released their Korean debut album "Back to Life" on October 28. The album quickly became a million-seller, selling 1,139,988 copies. During the first week (October 28 to November 3), a total of 1,222,022 copies were sold, making it the best-selling Korean album released in October. These figures are based on Hanteo Chart data.
&TEAM's popularity was also evident offline. To celebrate their Korean debut, the pop-up store "&TEAM KR 1st Mini Album 'Back to Life' POP-UP" operated in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, attracting over 1,000 visitors daily on average for eight days. The pop-up store became a natural space for global fans to connect. The members personally visited the pop-up, leaving autographs and messages to interact with fans.
The pop-up space, sensibly embodying the worldview of "Back to Life," allowed visitors to experience &TEAM's music in a new way. This deepened the significance of their Korean debut. The excitement of the pop-up will move to Japan. From November 29 to December 14, &TEAM will hold a pop-up in Shibuya, Tokyo, expanding the "Back to Life" worldview and meeting fans again.
&TEAM's rapid growth and global activities demonstrate new possibilities for K-pop. They plan to continue communicating with fans through various activities in the future.
