ATEEZ will close the year with "Career High" at the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA). Throughout 2025, they released two albums, stood out on the US Billboard and global charts, and connected with fans worldwide through their world tour. Recently, ATEEZ received the Prime Minister's Commendation at KGMA, establishing themselves as a leading K-pop group. They are scheduled to perform an original live stage at the "2025 Korea Grand Music Awards with iM Bank" held on the 14th at Incheon Inspire Arena.
Since their debut in October 2018, ATEEZ has gained attention with their unique music and powerful performances. They have showcased a distinctive charm with their unique team color called "Mara flavor," building a global fanbase through overseas tours from early on. Their overwhelming performance on Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War" in 2021 propelled their leap forward. After entering the Billboard main album chart, the "Billboard 200," for the first time with their 7th mini-album in 2021, they achieved the top spot on the same chart with their 2nd full album in 2023.
The 2024 release, "Golden Hour: Part 2," marked their second number one on the "Billboard 200." In 2025, the title track "Lemon Drop" from their 12th mini-album "Golden Hour: Part 3" reached number 69 on the Billboard "Hot 100," and "In Your Fantasy" from the same album entered at number 68. This made ATEEZ one of three K-pop boy groups to appear on the Billboard main digital song chart. They proved the strong support of their fandom by reaching number two on the "Billboard 200." Billboard recognized ATEEZ's "Lemon Drop" as the highest-ranked K-pop boy group song on the "Top 25 Best K-pop Songs of 2025" list, acknowledging their global career.
ATEEZ's popularity continues in Japan as well. Their 2nd full album "Ashes to Light," released after four years and six months, topped both the Oricon "Daily Album Ranking" and "Weekly Album Ranking," proving their high popularity.
ATEEZ's performance is one of their strongest assets. Last year, they made headlines as the first K-pop boy group to perform at the United States' largest music festival, the "Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival." The 2025 world tour "In Your Fantasy" took place over 14 shows across 12 North American cities, including stadium performances in five cities, such as New York. Having recently completed their Japan tour, they are planning tours in Asia and Australia early next year.
ATEEZ is set to present a special stage at the 2025 KGMA. Having won the "Best Song" and "Grand Honors Choice" awards at last year's KGMA, they are expected to achieve another milestone this year, having performed on broader and higher stages. ATEEZ's fandom, ATINY, is expressing high expectations for their awards and the performance at the ceremony, which is drawing significant attention. Their well-structured and outstanding performance at last year's KGMA received high praise.
Marking their 7th anniversary since debut, ATEEZ is preparing a special stage at KGMA to reflect on their journey so far. A representative from their agency stated, "Since we will be meeting fans at KGMA ahead of the year-end, we are carefully preparing the stage." ATEEZ's 2025 KGMA stage is expected to be a special moment of communication with their fans.
