On the November 8th broadcast of JTBC's "Knowing Bros," solo artists representing the music industry—Sunmi, Lee Chan-won, and Song Min-jun—will appear. They are expected to add fun to the program with their outstanding variety skills and eloquence.
Sunmi mentions a special connection with Shindong during the show. She said, "Shindong and I auditioned for SM at the same time, and we often went to a hamburger place together while practicing." In response, Shindong recalled, "At that time, Sunmi was 13 and I was 20. Originally, I planned to audition for dance, but encouraged by an SM staff member, I tried comedy and was admitted as the top candidate." Sunmi added with a laugh, "Honestly, it probably wasn't comedy material worthy of a grand prize."
Lee Chan-won shared his experience of hosting a music show, saying, "Unlike the events and broadcasts I've done so far, I had to proceed refreshingly, which was embarrassing." Based on his experience, he demonstrated a comparison to the brothers, causing great laughter. He also drew attention by summarizing his thoughts on the 'trot idol,' saying, "Honestly, anyone under their 50s doesn't look like a woman to me, and people in their 20s and 30s seem like babies."
Song Min-jun recounted an episode when Lee Chan-won called him after his stage aired on "Mr. Trot 2." He said, "We talked on the phone for 30 minutes while crying," recalling his emotions at the time. Lee Chan-won candidly responded, "I called under the influence of alcohol," turning the mood around.
The broadcast will also feature special new song stages by these solo artists. Sunmi will showcase her new song "CYNICAL" dressed as a virgin ghost in a white robe, demonstrating her mastery of concept. Lee Chan-won is said to have moved the studio with his new song "Somehow Today."
This broadcast will be an opportunity to see the diverse charms of the solo artists along with various episodes.
