Choi Woo-shik Reveals the Shocking Truth About His Uncle-in-Law Kim Young-min

In episode 10 of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama "Woozoo Mary Me," which aired on the 8th, the process of Kim Woozoo (played by Choi Wooshik) discovering the true identity of his uncle Jang Hangoo (played by Kim Youngmin) was depicted. Kim Woozoo realized that Jang Hangoo was plotting a conspiracy to kill his parents and seize Myeongsundang.

In the previous episode, it was revealed that Jang Hangoo eliminated Manager Go (played by Kwon Haeseong), who had detected irregularities in Myeongsundang's financial flow, by staging a traffic accident, and that he had orchestrated the accident involving Kim Woozoo's parents. Additionally, Jang Hangoo was living a double life, having established another family with his mistress Oh Minjung (played by Yoon Jimin) in the United States. In this episode, Jang Hangoo also attempted to kill Go Pilnyeon (played by Jung Aeri), but Go Pilnyeon survived.

Kim Woozoo struggled to protect Myeongsundang and decided to expose Jang Hangoo's evil deeds together with Yoo Mary (played by Jung Somin). Yoo Mary advised Kim Woozoo, saying, "Let's wake the chairman up. Won't the person with restless feet come?" In response, Kim Woozoo sought help from Jang Hangoo's son, Jang Eungsu (played by Go Geonhan). Jang Eungsu was somewhat aware of his father's atrocities and decided to assist Kim Woozoo.

Although Go Pilnyeon had not regained consciousness, Jang Eungsu reported to Jang Hangoo as if she had awakened. Jang Hangoo instructed Oh Minjung to secretly inject drugs into Go Pilnyeon at the hospital, but the hospital room was occupied by police officers instead of Go Pilnyeon. Oh Minjung was urgently arrested on suspicion of attempting to kill Go Pilnyeon. Jang Hangoo told Oh Minjung, "They say you'll be out in about 15 years. I'll hire the best lawyer to get you out quickly, so stay silent and exercise your right to remain silent."

Kim Woozoo warned Jang Hangoo, "I know everything about your relationship with Oh Minjung. I will definitely uncover what you have been plotting." Jang Hangoo responded, "I was blackmailed too," and abandoned both Oh Minjung and his other son. Kim Woozoo informed Oh Minjung of Jang Hangoo's betrayal, and Oh Minjung said, "Promise me my son's safety. Then I'll give you what you want." Oh Minjung revealed the location of the cellphone containing evidence of Jang Hangoo's misdeeds, but Jang Hangoo found the phone first.

The cellphone contained private conversations between Oh Minjung and Jang Hangoo, as well as evidence of their attempt to kill Kim Woozoo's family. After learning all the facts, Kim Woozoo was shocked and exclaimed, "It was you, uncle? It was you!"

Episode 10 of "Woozoo Mary Me" recorded ratings of up to 11.1%, 8.5% in the metropolitan area, and 7.9% nationwide, ranking first among Saturday mini-series and in its time slot. The 2049 target audience rating averaged 2.4%, peaking at 3.26%.

At the 80th anniversary event of Myeongsundang's founding, Kim Woozoo and Yoo Mary were caught in a fake newlywed relationship by Baek Sanghyun (played by Bae Nara), executive director of Bote Department Store, but overcame the crisis with the help of Yoon Jinkyung (played by Shin Seulgi). Mary discovered that the townhouse she won as a prize was actually a bribe house that Bote Department Store intended to give to the mayor, and Jinkyung suggested to Sanghyun to pretend not to know that Woozoo and Mary were not a married couple.

As a crisis approached Myeongsundang, Kim Woozoo's uncle Jang Hangoo revealed his true colors in front of Myeongsundang chairman Go Pilnyeon. He exposed that all contracts with Kalz Hotel, the establishment of the American factory, and investments were lies, and he swapped Pilnyeon's medicine. While Pilnyeon was unconscious, news broke that Myeongsundang had attracted investment through false contracts, and Jang Hangoo pinned all the blame on Pilnyeon.

Kim Woozoo visited the unconscious Go Pilnyeon and confessed, "Grandmother, I'm scared. I'm afraid you might be right." Kim Woozoo wanted to believe in Jang Hangoo, who had felt like his real father, until the very end, but Yoo Mary stayed by his side amid the confusion. Yoo Mary understood Kim Woozoo's difficult situation, comforted him, and gave appropriate advice.

Kim Woozoo and Yoo Mary uncovered circumstances related to Jang Hangoo's affair and joined forces with Woozoo's cousin Jang Eungsu to protect Myeongsundang. The three spread false information to Jang Hangoo that Pilnyeon had regained consciousness and arrested Oh Minjung, who had come to kill Pilnyeon, clearing Myeongsundang's name. However, the conspiracy between Jang Hangoo and Oh Minjung remained undisclosed.

Kim Woozoo confronted Jang Hangoo, declaring, "I will definitely uncover the truth." Afterwards, he attempted to negotiate with Oh Minjung, who was detained in the detention center, while Jang Hangoo searched Minjung's residence for decisive evidence she had hidden. Jang Hangoo found a cellphone that Minjung had used in the past. This cellphone contained evidence proving that Jang Hangoo was behind the traffic accident that killed Woozoo's parents 25 years ago.

Holding the decisive evidence of his crimes, Jang Hangoo was about to leave feeling relieved. At that moment, Kim Woozoo appeared and asked, "It was you, uncle?" The scene aired with Kim Woozoo's wounded gaze leaving a deep impression on viewers.

"Woozoo Mary Me" airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.
