IVE's Gaeul released a vlog showing the choreography production process of their new song "♥beats." Their agency, Starship Entertainment, uploaded a video titled "[IVE LOG] Press the Button ♥beats Choreography Vlog" on their official YouTube channel. This video details the entire process of completing the performance for "♥beats," a track from their fourth mini-album, IVE SECRET.

Gaeul directly participated in creating the choreography for "♥beats." The song was first revealed at the world tour SHOW WHAT I AM, held at Seoul KSPO DOME from October 31 to November 2, and received great responses from the audience. Gaeul said, "When I first heard '♥beats,' it gave me a similar feeling to 'Cherish.' I wanted to perform a song that was cute but had a hip-hop vibe. I was torn between participating in 'GOTCHA (Baddest Eros)' and '♥beats,' but I was more drawn to '♥beats,' so I chose it."

During the choreography creation process, Gaeul used a tablet to plan key points and refined the moves alone in the practice room to establish the choreography framework. Afterwards, she collaborated with choreographer Shimizu to design moves for each section, exchanging ideas and enhancing the details. Gaeul had also participated in the choreography production for "TKO," which was showcased at the fan concert IVE SCOUT last April. She expressed her determination, saying, "Since many people liked 'TKO,' I feel the pressure. I want to do well."

Gaeul meticulously refined the performance by repeatedly working on choreography production, filming, and monitoring. On the day of the concept shoot, she led group lessons, coordinating with the dancers, and after filming, exchanged feedback to produce a highly polished concept video. At the end of the video, Gaeul shared her thoughts: "I paid attention to every move. I created choreography filled with affection, thinking of the members. I wanted to make it suit and highlight each member, making it cute and fresh." She added, "I'm happy and proud to have choreographed up to '♥beats' for the concert. If I have the chance to participate again, I will, so please look forward to it."

Recently, Gaeul demonstrated her vocal and performance skills by presenting the unreleased solo song "Odd" during the world tour SHOW WHAT I AM. The song has a dreamy and mysterious mood, and Gaeul also participated in writing the lyrics, expanding her range as an artist.
