
JTBC's new weekend drama "Waiting for Kyungdo" has released a teaser poster ahead of its premiere on December 6. The drama centers on the romance capturing the youth of Lee Kyungdo and Seo Jiwoo. The screenplay is by Yoo Youngah, and the director is Im Hyunwook.
"Waiting for Kyungdo" tells the story of Lee Kyungdo (played by Park Seojoon) and Seo Jiwoo (played by Won Jian), who have each experienced two breakups and reunite as a reporter who covered an affair scandal and the wife of the scandal's subject. Their first love is a major theme of the drama, with their past and present intertwined as the story unfolds.
The released teaser poster shows Lee Kyungdo carrying Seo Jiwoo on his back. Seo Jiwoo's innocent expression and Lee Kyungdo's warm gaze harmonize, sparking curiosity about their relationship. The poster depicts them happy just being together, hinting at the impact their first love will have on their lives.
The production team said, "During the poster shoot, it reminded us of the fresh days of Lee Kyungdo and Seo Jiwoo," adding, "The chemistry between Park Seojoon and Won Jian, who portray their story, will bring excitement to many."
The drama is expected to convey various emotions through the story of two people who have kept traces of a love that began 18 years ago. Park Seojoon and Won Jian will showcase a heartfelt romantic chemistry as Lee Kyungdo and Seo Jiwoo.
"Waiting for Kyungdo" airs every Saturday and Sunday at 10:40 PM. Anticipation is high ahead of the premiere, and the drama is expected to deliver deep emotions to viewers.
