Boy group &TEAM, which has achieved record-breaking success in both Korea and Japan, has received the "Double Platinum" certification from the Japan Record Association. According to the Japan Record Association on the 12th, &TEAM's first Korean mini-album "Back to Life" surpassed 500,000 cumulative shipments as of October 2025.
The Japan Record Association grants certifications monthly based on cumulative album shipments, categorized as "Gold" (over 100,000 copies), "Platinum" (over 250,000 copies), "Double Platinum" (over 500,000 copies), "Triple Platinum" (over 750,000 copies), and "Million" (over 1,000,000 copies). With this certification, all physical albums released by &TEAM have now been included in the Japan Record Association's certification list.
In particular, &TEAM's previous release, the third single "Go in Blind," was the team's first to receive the "Million" certification. &TEAM continued this momentum with their Korean debut album. "Back to Life" recorded cumulative sales of 1,222,022 copies during its first week, topping major music charts in both Korea and Japan. &TEAM achieved a triple crown on Korean music shows by consecutively winning first place with the title track "Back to Life" on SBS M's "The Show," MBC M's "Show! Champion," and KBS2's "Music Bank."
This achievement reflects &TEAM's global popularity and the positive outcomes of their activities in Korea and Japan. &TEAM plans to continue engaging with fans through various activities in the future.
