According to the announcement on the 12th, their third Japanese studio album, "Starkissed," surpassed cumulative shipments of 250,000 copies as of October, earning the Gold Disc "Platinum" certification. This achievement was made in about ten days after its official release on October 22, confirming TOMORROW X TOGETHER's popularity in Japan.
This certification marks the second "Platinum" certification TOMORROW X TOGETHER has received this year. Following their fourth Korean studio album "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE," released in July, they have once again achieved success in the Japanese market. The Japan Record Association grants certifications based on cumulative monthly shipments: Gold (over 100,000 copies), Platinum (over 250,000 copies), Double Platinum (over 500,000 copies), Triple Platinum (over 750,000 copies), and Million (over 1,000,000 copies).
TOMORROW X TOGETHER has earned Gold Disc certifications for a total of 15 albums to date. "Starkissed" ranked first on the Oricon "Weekly Combined Album Ranking" and "Weekly Album Ranking" immediately after its release, and also topped the Billboard Japan "Top Album Sales" chart. The title track "Can't Stop" received great love from Japanese fans, ranking number one in the "Hot Shot Song" category.
