Singer Lee Seung-chul appeared on KBS2TV's variety show "Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room," which aired on the 13th, and boasted about his son-in-law. Lee Seung-chul asked Kim Jong-kook, who recently got married, in a nonchalant tone, "So you got married?" and said, "Why are you hiding it so much? That just makes me more curious," which embarrassed Kim Jong-kook. Yang Se-chan added, "This is the trend at broadcasting stations these days. Telling Kim Jong-kook to say he got married."

Lee Seung-chul explained to Kim Jong-kook the duties he must uphold as a husband. He said, "I don't have a secret stash of money. I used to borrow pocket money," and advised, "You'll see when you live it." He continued, "At our age, you hide your age and forget about it. Kim Jong-kook doesn't drink, so he'll be fine. Lee Seung-chul was also devoted to his wife. He still calls her "Ma-nim" (a respectful term for wife) and said, "Living like a bell is comfortable." He added, "At that time, eels were imported to Korea. I bought 10 eels, put them in a pot, and simmered them for several hours. Then I put them in the fridge and fed my wife a spoonful every day," showing his dedication.

Lee Seung-chul advised Kim Jong-kook, "Even now, I do almost all the cooking and dishwashing. You have to do those things too. That's how you get love." Kim Jong-kook agreed that was true but said, embarrassed, "Why do you keep saying that to me?"

Lee Seung-chul recently gave his eldest daughter away in marriage. He actively participated in the wedding, boasting a luxurious lineup. The wedding, hosted by Kim Sung-joo with performances by Jannabi and Lee Mujin, became a hot topic. Lee Seung-chul revealed, "My wife is a huge fan of Jannabi. When she gets in the car, she only listens to Jannabi's songs, so she knows them all. That's why I personally called Jannabi and Lee Mujin to arrange the congratulatory songs."

He added, "Kim Sung-joo's hosting was even on our wedding anniversary. Six months before the wedding, I asked Kim Sung-joo, 'What are you doing that day?' He said it was his wedding anniversary, so I said, 'Perfect. Come and host.' I didn't think much of it."

Lee Seung-chul emphasized, "I really like my son-in-law." He evaluated, "He is frugal and does his job thoroughly. He is in charge of EGS management at a law firm and has a meticulous and thorough personality in real life as well." He also said, "My son-in-law is 188 cm tall, about the same as Joo Woo-jae. My daughter also has long limbs. So I'm looking forward to their children."

Lee Seung-chul also mentioned his second daughter. He said, "My second daughter is like my pride. When she does something, she ranks 3rd to 5th nationwide. She's good at math too. But she's also good at diving and sports." He continued, "My daughter said, 'I've tried everything, but studying is the easiest.' So she's studying to go to MIT Medical School," which earned everyone's admiration.
