
The group ENHYPEN released a new song to celebrate the end of the year. On the 11th at 6 p.m., ENHYPEN exclusively unveiled the project track "Mistletoe" on Apple Music. This song was produced as part of Apple Music's "2025 Carols Covered" campaign. Every year at the end of the year, Apple Music runs the "Carols Covered" campaign, which features classic carols reinterpreted by the best contemporary artists, presented in immersive spatial audio. ENHYPEN proved their high global status by being the only K-pop artist to participate in this campaign this year.
"Mistletoe" is a song originally released by global pop star Justin Bieber in 2011. It ranked high on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and gained great popularity, with its music video surpassing 500 million views. ENHYPEN reinterpreted this song with a bright festive atmosphere, delivering a romantic and warm year-end feeling to many listeners.
ENHYPEN said, "This is a song we always enjoyed listening to at the end of the year, and we felt that the sweet lyrics of 'Mistletoe' resemble the feelings ENGENE (our fandom name) have when they look at ENHYPEN." They added, "We are excited because we think we can convey the year-end atmosphere well to our fans."
Before releasing the song, ENHYPEN conducted a Q&A session through Apple Music. Jungwon explained why they chose "Mistletoe," saying, "It's a song we always enjoyed listening to at the end of the year. The sweet and thrilling lyrics remind me of the feelings ENGENE have when they look at ENHYPEN." Jay added, "It's a song I have enjoyed since I was young.
