The group Monsta X made a donation for children suffering from food insecurity. On the 12th, the global child rights NGO Good Neighbors announced that Monsta X had delivered a donation to support children facing food insecurity in South Korea. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Monsta X's debut. To give back the love they received from their fans, they made the donation under the name of their fan club, Monbebe. The donated funds will be used to support children suffering from food insecurity in South Korea.
Monsta X stated, "The 10 years have been even more special because we were together with our fans," and added, "Just as Monsta X and Monbebe have been a source of strength for each other, we hope this sharing will also be a great support to someone." Since starting donations in 2020 to help low-income families struggling due to COVID-19, they have continued their good deeds steadily.
In March, Monsta X donated 100 million won to Good Neighbors to support residents and children affected by wildfires in Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk. As a result, Monsta X was registered in the high-donor group called The Neighbors Honors Club.
Meanwhile, Monsta X is scheduled to release their U.S. digital single "Baby Blue" at midnight on the 14th. The new song "Baby Blue" is their first official U.S. single in about four years since their second U.S. full-length album "The Dreaming," released in December 2021. Monsta X's donation activities and new song release contribute to strengthening their bond with fans.
