JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama "Waiting for Kyungdo" has released its second teaser video ahead of its premiere on December 6. The drama is written by Yoo Young-ah, directed by Lim Hyun-wook, and produced by SLL, IEN, and Geulmoe.
The teaser video depicts the complicated love story of the main characters Lee Kyung-do (played by Park Seo-joon) and Seo Ji-woo (played by Won Ji-an). The two show a relationship still deeply scarred by the pain of separation. The video alternates between happy moments from the early days of their romance and the cold atmosphere when they reunite after breaking up, capturing the viewers' attention.
Lee Kyung-do says, "Even when I see you, I only feel glad. When I see Seo Ji-woo and go home, I think, 'I was glad,'" revealing his goal to become emotionally indifferent. This implies that Seo Ji-woo still holds a place in his heart. Their love is expressed more deeply through endlessly intense and desperate moments.
Seo Ji-woo breaks down in tears, saying, "I really, really love him, but I can't be by his side." Lee Kyung-do expresses resentment toward Seo Ji-woo, saying, "If you were going to leave like that, you shouldn't have come at all." This further complicates their relationship, emphasizing a situation where they love each other but inevitably grow apart.
The drama tells the story of Lee Kyung-do and Seo Ji-woo reuniting as a journalist who reported on an affair scandal and the wife of the scandal's main figure. Through two relationships and their reunion, it portrays a poignant and intense romance.
"Waiting for Kyungdo" is expected to leave a deep impression on viewers through its complex emotional lines and relationships. The first broadcast will take place on December 6 at 10:40 PM. The drama realistically depicts the essence of love and the conflicts it brings, attracting viewers' interest.
