
&TEAM will appear on Japan's representative year-end music program, "Kohaku Uta Gassen," three years after their debut. On the 14th, they attended the press conference for the "76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen" held at the NHK Broadcasting Center in Tokyo, Japan, stating, "We are honored to appear on 'Kohaku Uta Gassen,' which was one of our goals," and added, "We will do our best every moment to reach the hearts of the fans who have supported us for three years since our debut."
"Kohaku Uta Gassen" is NHK's iconic year-end music program broadcast every December 31. The program invites artists who have received the most love throughout the year and holds unparalleled influence in terms of viewership ratings and public attention. Simply appearing on the show serves as an indicator of high popularity within Japan.
&TEAM achieved remarkable success this year. Their third single, "Go in Blind," surpassed 1 million cumulative shipments and received the "Million" certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. Additionally, they secured first place on both the "Weekly Combined Single Ranking" and the "Weekly Single Ranking" on the Oricon charts, achieving a double crown. They recorded the highest points among male artists this year.
Their Korean debut album, "Back to Life," recorded cumulative sales of 1,222,022 copies in its first week, topping major music charts in both Korea and Japan. Despite being a Korean-language album, it received "Double Platinum" certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. All physical albums released by &TEAM from their debut to the present are listed on the Recording Industry Association of Japan's certification list.
&TEAM, which started in Japan in 2022, has established itself as a global artist with steady growth every year. Last year, they released a total of four albums and appeared on Japanese broadcast programs more than 300 times, actively engaging in various activities. Thanks to these efforts, &TEAM ranked first in the "K-pop & Global Group Awareness Survey" announced by Oricon in May 2025.
&TEAM proved their strong ticket power through their first Asia tour, which concluded with encore performances on October 26-27. Performances in major Asian cities such as Tokyo, Bangkok, Fukuoka, Seoul, Jakarta, Taipei, Hyogo, and Hong Kong were all sold out, with a total audience of approximately 160,000 attending.
&TEAM's appearance on "Kohaku Uta Gassen" demonstrates their determination to further solidify their position in the Japanese market. They plan to continue their activities to elevate their status as a global artist.
