Park Mi-sun was diagnosed with breast cancer in January and paused her activities. After undergoing 10 months of treatment and recovery, she appeared on tvN's You Quiz on the Block, which aired on the 12th, to share her current condition. On the show, she explained her reason for appearing, saying, "There are many fake news stories, so I came out to report that I'm alive." She discovered breast cancer during a comprehensive checkup in December last year and underwent surgery on the 24th. The surgery revealed that the cancer cells had spread to the lymph nodes. Consequently, Park Mi-sun began chemotherapy, although her treatment was delayed due to pneumonia. She stated, "What was supposed to be four treatments was split into twelve. I had radiation therapy 16 times, and now I am undergoing medication treatment."

Park Mi-sun endured difficult times during her battle. She shared, "I lost my voice and developed peripheral neuropathy. But I endured it to survive." She added, "Breast cancer is a disease where you can't use the word 'complete recovery.' You always have to be cautious and live while getting checked." After her broadcast appearance, Park Mi-sun resumed her SNS activities and is communicating with her fans. She said, "I agonized a lot over whether to go out or not, and because so many people were curious and worried, I gathered the courage to appear on the show. This will be my only schedule this year."
