The group Stray Kids will officially release their new album 'SKZ IT TAPE DO IT' on the 21st at 2 PM. JYP Entertainment revealed a music video teaser for the double title track 'Shin Seon Nol Eum' through Stray Kids' official social media on the 16th.
This teaser is inspired by Jeon Woo-chi, the protagonist of the classic novel 'Jeon Woo-chi Jeon,' depicting Stray Kids transformed into immortals leading goblins in an exciting play. The teaser includes ink wash animation that looks like it was drawn with a brush, along with props that modernly reinterpret traditional artworks such as Ilwol Obongdo and tiger folk paintings, adding visual appeal.
The title track 'Shin Seon Nol Eum' is a boom bap-based hip-hop song characterized by a dramatic development contrasting a melodic topline with intense chants. This song expresses Stray Kids' unique excitement through music, as if breaking free from the world's constraints and enjoying everything like an immortal's play.
This album is the first work in Stray Kids' newly introduced series 'SKZ IT TAPE,' containing a total of five tracks: the double title tracks 'Do It' and 'Shin Seon Nol Eum,' and the included songs 'Holiday,' 'Photobook,' and 'Do It (Festival Version).'
Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han of the group's producing team 3RACHA participated in the production of all tracks.
Through this album, Stray Kids harmoniously combine traditional elements with modern sensibilities to showcase a new musical color. Fans' expectations are rising ahead of the album release.
