Lee Jang-woo causes a stir with a joke about premarital pregnancy following Ham Eun-jung's wedding news

Actor Lee Jang-woo spoke about the marriage news of actress Ham Eun-jung, formerly of the group T-ara. In a video released on the YouTube channel 'Ham Eun-jung' on the 16th, Lee Jang-woo said, "My mom told me about your marriage news, so I found out. I was working when my mom suddenly said, 'Hey! Eun-jung is getting married,' and I replied, 'No, she's busy filming a drama right now.'" He said he initially doubted the marriage news was true.

Lee Jang-woo shared, "At first, I thought it was false news because you and director Kim Byung-woo didn't seem to match well. I wondered, 'Did she get pregnant? Getting married at this timing? Mom, I think Eun-jung is pregnant.' Even though you said no, I doubted it for a long time." Ham Eun-jung smiled and said, "That blessing hasn't come quickly yet."

Ham Eun-jung explained, "I have to film a drama from next week until July next year. I couldn't postpone it any longer; it had to be this year. The drama team was in an uproar, saying, 'If you're going to have a baby, get married quickly.' I was born in 1988, so it's considered late pregnancy."

Lee Jang-woo and Ham Eun-jung previously appeared as a virtual couple on MBC TV variety show 'We Got Married.' Lee Jang-woo said, "We talked a lot on the phone. When you said you had someone you were going to marry, I felt you were dating a younger actor. You gave off that kind of vibe." He added, "You said it wasn't true and called me 'a bit immature,' but I thought, 'This is serious.' I was determined to meet the younger actor because I thought there was no way you should marry a younger actor."

Lee Jang-woo is scheduled to marry actress Jo Hye-won on the 23rd. Ham Eun-jung plans to wed director Kim Byung-woo on the 30th. Director Kim Byung-woo directed films such as 'The Terror Live' (2013) and 'PMC: The Bunker' (2018), and plans to release 'The Great Flood' on Netflix on the 19th of next month.

Lee Jang-woo shared his reaction upon hearing Ham Eun-jung's marriage news. He said, "I was surprised when I saw the article. My mom told me about your marriage article, so I said, 'No, she's busy filming a drama, how could she be getting married?' but it was true."

Lee Jang-woo revealed that he is a fan of Ham Eun-jung's fiancé, director Kim Byung-woo. He said, "You and the director didn't seem to match well, so I thought it was false news. Then I kept wondering, 'Did she get pregnant?'"

Ham Eun-jung clarified, "That blessing hasn't come quickly yet," adding, "They say if you're going to have a baby, you should do it quickly. I was born in 1988, so it's considered late pregnancy."

Ham Eun-jung plans to marry director Kim Byung-woo on the 30th. Lee Jang-woo will hold his wedding with Jo Hye-won on the 23rd. The two have a connection from appearing as a virtual couple on the MBC variety show. Lee Jang-woo shared a story about suspecting a premarital pregnancy upon hearing the marriage news, which brought laughter.

Lee Jang-woo and Ham Eun-jung also exchanged wedding invitations while congratulating each other on their marriage news. They built their friendship through their appearance as a virtual couple on 'We Got Married.' Currently, both are preparing for their weddings with their respective partners.

Ham Eun-jung said, "I want to get along well even after marriage," and Lee Jang-woo said, "I will definitely attend the wedding." The two continue to celebrate each other's marriages and maintain a warm friendship.
