Virtual group PLAVE has surpassed 1 million copies in initial sales with their second single album 'PLBBUU.' Released on the 10th, the album sold approximately 1.09 million copies within a week. This marks the group's personal best record and their second million-seller overall.
PLAVE became the first virtual idol to achieve a million-seller with their third mini-album 'Caligo Pt.1,' released in February. At that time, they recorded initial sales of about 1.04 million copies. Despite 'PLBBUU' being released in only two versions (PLBBUU VER, POCACALBUM VER), it sold over 1 million copies, proving the group's strong presence.
PLAVE began their first Asia tour last August. Starting in Seoul, they successfully held concerts in six cities including Taipei, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Tokyo. They will hold encore concerts at Gocheok Dome in Seoul on November 21 and 22. Both shows are sold out.
PLAVE's continuous success demonstrates the group's growth and expanding fanbase. They are gaining attention with their unique concept and music, raising expectations for their future activities.
