Stray Kids reaffirmed their global influence by being recognized for the achievements of their massive world tour, "Stray Kids World Tour DOMINATE." Recently, the U.S. concert magazine Pollstar announced the "Top 20 Global Concert Tours," where Stray Kids ranked 2nd, the highest position among K-pop artists. This chart is calculated based on average ticket revenue by region.
Stray Kids successfully concluded their world tour, consisting of 56 shows across 35 locations, with an encore performance held last October at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. This tour was the largest in the group's history, featuring stadium concerts in 28 out of the 35 cities, attracting tens of thousands of fans per show. They set records as the first K-pop artist to perform at major global stadiums such as Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Nationals Park in Washington D.C., Wrigley Field in Chicago, Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam, Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, Riyadh Air Metropolitan in Madrid, and Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
In particular, at Stade de France in Paris, they demonstrated their influence by drawing the largest audience ever for a K-pop act. Alongside completing their "largest-ever" world tour this year, Stray Kids also made their presence felt on the U.S. Billboard main album chart, the Billboard 200, with their 4th full-length album, "KARMA." As of the latest chart on November 22, "KARMA" ranked 42nd and has remained on the chart for 12 consecutive weeks, showing long-lasting success.
Stray Kids will release their new album, "SKZ IT TAPE DO IT," on the 21st at 2 PM. The album includes five tracks, featuring the title track "DO IT" and "Fresh Fun," all produced by the team Three Racha, consisting of members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. This album is regarded as an important work that showcases the group's musical direction and growth.
Stray Kids' world tour and album release contribute to the globalization of K-pop, and they plan to continue engaging with fans through ongoing activities. The group's successful trajectory plays a crucial role in solidifying the international standing of K-pop artists.
Through this tour, Stray Kids strengthened their bond with fans worldwide, raising anticipation for their future activities. They are elevating K-pop's status not only through musical achievements but also by setting new standards in performance art.
