Hui Signs Exclusive Contract with Withus
Hui has signed an exclusive contract with Withus Entertainment. On the 17th, Withus announced, "We recently signed an exclusive contract with Hui," adding, "We will spare no musical support to help him strengthen his identity as a solo musician and producer."
Hui debuted in 2016 as the leader of the group Pentagon. While active as an idol, he also stood out as a singer-songwriter and producer, gaining love from global music fans. He proved his capabilities as a composer by writing many of Pentagon's hit songs, as well as iconic K-pop tracks such as Wanna One's "Energetic" and "NEVER."
Last year, Hui released his first solo album, "WHU IS ME : Complex." Based on a lyrical style, the album spans various genres including pop, ballad, R&B, and trot, building a broad genre spectrum. Through this, he solidified his position as a solo artist.
Entering his 10th year since debut, Hui shared a vision with Withus to showcase his growth through music. As an artist who leads not only vocals and stage performance but also overall production, he plans to deepen his musicality through diverse activities in the future.
In particular, Hui plans to actively participate in the music production of other artists under Withus. Withus is a comprehensive entertainment company aiming for "togetherness" through good music, home to Apink's Park Chorong, Yoon Bomi, Kim Namjoo, Oh Hayoung, Mamamoo's Wheein, and the rookie boy group The Wind. Hui's joining completes an even stronger musical lineup.
Hui is set to further establish himself as a versatile artist. Through collaboration with Withus, he will expand his musical spectrum and continue communicating with fans through activities across various genres. Hui's new musical journey is highly anticipated.
