The crossover group LA POEM delivered a high-quality live performance with a celebratory stage at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards. On the 19th, at the awards ceremony held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, LA POEM reinterpreted Cho Yong-pil's "Dragonfly," the OST of director Park Chan-wook's film "Decision to Leave," in their own style and performed it on stage.
This was their second appearance, following the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2022. At that time, LA POEM performed "Mist," the OST of Park Chan-wook's film "Decision to Leave." By singing OSTs from Park Chan-wook's works two years in a row, they showcased their presence.
On this day, LA POEM appeared on stage dressed in pure white tuxedos, brightening the atmosphere of the awards ceremony. From the first note, they captivated the audience with overwhelming vocal power, unique tone, and explosive singing ability. Through delicate interpretation and rich harmonies, they completed a stage like a cinematic experience.
The audience, filled with actors and industry professionals, was deeply immersed in LA POEM's passionate performance. Their live show elevated the prestige of the Blue Dragon Film Awards and left a strong impression.
Meanwhile, LA POEM was recently invited to perform at the Korea-UAE cultural exchange event "Culture, Connecting UAE and Korea," held at Qasr Al Watan, the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. They proved their status as Korea's representative crossover group.
LA POEM will continue their high-quality performances with a solo concert, "LA POEM SYMPHONY In Love," held at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts Grand Theater in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the 29th and 30th.
