Rise releases new single 'Fame' today... Debuts at fan showcase

The group RIIZE will release their new single "Fame" on the 24th. On the same day at 5 PM, they will hold a fan showcase at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, and from 6 PM, the song will be released on various music sites. The music video for the title track will be unveiled on the SMTOWN YouTube channel.

The title track "Fame" is RIIZE's first attempt at a rage-style hip-hop song. This song embodies RIIZE's ideal as an "emotional pop artist" and delivers a message that values sharing emotions and love over fame. It also promises a high-level performance combining a relaxed flow with explosive power.

In addition to the title track, the single includes two other songs. The R&B pop song "Something's in the Water" embraces the anxiety felt during growth, while the pop rock-style dance song "Sticky Like" expresses a pure love story with RIIZE's unique sensibility and power.

In a Q&A session commemorating the single release, RIIZE shared their first impressions of the title track "Fame." Shotaro said, "It's definitely a style RIIZE hasn't tried before, so it felt new. It has a cool and free vibe." Eunseok said, "My first impression was that it felt slightly dark but powerful. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be 'inner self.'"

Regarding their favorite part of the title track, Seongchan mentioned, "I was touched by the part Sohee sings, 'Only wanting deep and intense love.'" Wonbin said the lyric "How do you feel looking at me now?" stayed in his memory.

When asked about their honest thoughts on "Fame," Sohee emphasized, "It's something you have to earn as your true self. Only then does it have meaning." Anton said, "I chose this path because I want to live for my dreams and myself. Then 'Fame' will follow."

When asked about the difficulty of the performance, Shotaro said, "'Fame' is the most difficult, followed by 'Siren,' and then 'Fly Up.'" He explained, "It's challenging to maintain the hip-hop groove and not miss a single sound. The chorus moves are also complex."

Regarding when to listen to the B-side tracks "Something's in the Water" and "Sticky Like," Seongchan recommended, "It's good to play 'Something's in the Water' quietly at night while looking at the stars." On the other hand, Anton said, "It's nice to start the day with 'Something's in the Water' and listen to 'Sticky Like' on the way home from work."

About the coolest scene during the music video shoot, Eunseok said, "The scene shot next to the classic car at the trailer filming site was cool." Sohee added, "I tried not to think about anything while recording."

Regarding their feelings about the new single release, Shotaro said, "I'm really thankful to BREEZE for waiting. I wanted to show a new side of us." Eunseok said, "This time, it felt different and fun." Seongchan emphasized, "Through this promotion, you'll be able to discover a new side of RIIZE." Wonbin said, "I'm looking forward to showing the new songs."

Sohee said, "I hope everyone understands that BREEZE is the most precious thing," and Anton said, "I'm happy to greet you with a new side again this time." RIIZE will showcase their new side at the fan showcase on the 24th and continue communicating with their fans.
