Rookie actor Kim Moo-jun is gaining attention in SBS's Wednesday-Thursday drama "Kiss Is Not Just for Show!" Since his debut in 2020, he has captured viewers' interest through tense confrontations with Jang Ki-yong and unpredictable romance with Woo Da-bi. Kim Moo-jun has signed an exclusive contract with 9ato Entertainment, the agency of Han So-hee.
According to Nielsen Korea, the viewership rating for episode 4 of "Kiss Is Not Just for Show!" aired on the 20th reached 6.3%, setting a new personal record. The peak rating hit 7.8%, proving the drama's popularity. In this episode, Kim Moo-jun's character declares himself as "Darim's husband" to Ji-hyuk (played by Jang Ki-yong), placing himself at the center of a rivalry. He also displayed multifaceted charm through a new emotional flow with Ha-young (played by Woo Da-bi).
Sun-woo, played by Kim Moo-jun, asserted his presence by taking control of the situation when Darim was in danger. Facing Darim and Ji-hyuk, who were being chased by loan sharks, he directly confronted Ji-hyuk by stating, "I am this woman's husband," forming a love triangle. The scene where he carries Darim on his back to escape strengthened his narrative as a romance rival beyond just a male friend, reaching an emotional climax.
Sun-woo also experiences another change in his relationship with Ha-young. Ha-young becomes fascinated by Sun-woo's photo and attempts to invite him to an exhibition, creating a subtle atmosphere. Additionally, when Ha-young is at risk of falling from a ladder, Sun-woo catches her in a princess carry, emphasizing romantic elements and giving viewers a fluttering feeling. Ha-young takes over Jun's hospital discharge, forming a new connection between the two.
Kim Moo-jun expands Sun-woo's character in a three-dimensional way by playing the role of a supportive male friend to Darim, a rival to Ji-hyuk, and a starting point of new excitement for Ha-young. His restrained emotional expression and realistic acting showcase the charm of "Warm Man." Attention is focused on how Kim Moo-jun will navigate emotional changes between the two romantic axes.
The drama "Kiss Is Not Just for Show!" airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9 PM. This drama offers viewers an engaging story through complex relationships and emotional lines among various characters. Kim Moo-jun's active role is expected to continue.
