Olive Young, Large-Scale Discounts for the '2025 Awards' Selected from 180 Million Purchase Data


CJ Olive Young announced the '2025 Olive Young Awards' and revealed that a large-scale promotion focusing on the award-winning products will be held during the December 'Ollyoung Sale' starting on the 30th. This awards event is a year-end representative occasion that selects the best products in each category based on accumulated customer purchase big data over the past year. This year, approximately 180 million purchase data points were analyzed to select a total of 166 products across 40 categories as award winners.

Olive Young significantly expanded the award categories to reflect the changing K-beauty and wellness trends. With the growing culture of self-care at home, a new 'Self-Beauty' category was established, and a 'Lifestyle' category covering fashion, hobbies, and living was added. Reflecting the trend of expanding care from the face to the hands, a 'Hand Care' category was created, and a 'Oral Aftercare' category focusing on managing bad breath after brushing was also newly introduced.

As global growth continues, the 'Global Category,' which reflects overseas customer data, was further subdivided. This category is divided into three parts: Best Performer, Rising, and Rookie, incorporating data from domestic offline stores and Olive Young Global Mall (serving 150 countries). Award-winning products can be viewed on the online mall starting from the 30th.

Olive Young plans to link the year-end large-scale sale event 'Ollyoung Sale' with the award-winning products to offer various special promotions such as limited editions, buy-one-get-one-free deals, and bulk packages. Collaboration products with popular characters like 'Meonjakkwi,' 'Jjanggu,' and 'Zootopia,' as well as F&B and fashion brands like 'Yupgi Tteokbokki' and 'Wiggle Wiggle,' have been expanded to add fun elements. A total of eight brands, including Mediheal Age-R and Legot, participated in the collaborations.

To provide abundant benefits to foreign tourists visiting Korea at the end of the year, promotions for global customers have also been prepared. At major Olive Young 'Global Tourism Commercial District' stores with a high proportion of foreign customers, award-winning products from the global category will be offered at 'Global Olive Young Awards Special Prices.' Additional discounts are available when paying with Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, Wowpass, and other payment methods.

Additionally, the 'Year-End Settlement Special Price' offers discounts on products carefully selected by Olive Young outside of the awards during the Ollyoung Sale period. Various coupon benefits have also been prepared, including four types of coupon packs available on specific dates, first-come-first-served coupons operated daily, and advance coupons issued before the sale.

This event is centered on limited editions that embody the meaning of gifts for the year-end. From bestsellers to newly selected trendy products of this year, customers can find limited products such as bulk sizes, buy-one-get-one-free offers, and goods giveaways.

Collaboration products exclusive to the Awards have also been expanded. These include popular characters like Meonjakkwi, Jjanggu, and Zootopia, as well as products collaborated with food and beverage and fashion IPs. Eight brands, including Delight Project, Legot, and Mediheal Age-R, participated in the collaborations.
