
In the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Taxi Driver 3,' Lee Je-hoon delivered a satisfying revenge in his showdown with Yoon Si-yoon. In episode 4, aired on November 29, Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) and the 'Rainbow Heroes' punished Cha Byung-jin (played by Yoon Si-yoon) and his gang, who were involved in used car crimes.
In this episode, Kim Do-gi discovers that the used car he purchased from Cha Byung-jin is a flood-damaged vehicle scheduled for scrapping. Cha Byung-jin is a figure who profits by buying flood-damaged cars without insurance and reselling them as used cars. Kim Do-gi uncovers the criminal activities of Cha Byung-jin's gang and sets out for revenge.
Kim Do-gi visits the used car dealership 'Noblesse,' operated by Cha Byung-jin, to purchase additional used cars, arousing Cha Byung-jin's suspicion. Cha Byung-jin finds Kim Do-gi's actions suspicious and kidnaps him to interrogate his intentions. Kim Do-gi deceives Cha Byung-jin by lying that he has a major buyer for the used cars.
Kim Do-gi tells Cha Byung-jin that he must contract for 100 used cars, gaining his trust. During this process, Go Eun (played by Pyo Ye-jin) leaks information to Cha Byung-jin that 'Rainbow Transportation suffered vehicle flood damage due to heavy rains,' luring him in. Believing this information, Cha Byung-jin decides to take over Rainbow Transportation's vehicles.
Later, Jang Sung-chul (played by Kim Eui-sung) inserts a fraudulent contract into the deal with Cha Byung-jin, demanding additional payment. Cha Byung-jin, enraged, attempts to retaliate against Kim Do-gi, but Kim Do-gi traps Cha Byung-jin and his gang in a car and carries out his revenge.
Kim Do-gi tells Cha Byung-jin, "You all need to experience what it feels like to ride a ticking time bomb on the road," as he puts Cha Byung-jin's gang into a flood-damaged car. This scene delivers satisfaction to viewers and heightens the drama's tension.
At the end of the broadcast, a suspicious man appears, adding to the tension. Holding a Rainbow Taxi sticker, he shouts, "I will kill you," sparking curiosity about future developments.
Episode 4 of 'Taxi Driver 3' recorded a 15.4% viewership rating, ranking first in its time slot. It achieved an average 2049 rating of 4.2%, peaking at 4.91%, securing the top 2049 rating among all channels aired in November.
The drama's popularity is attributed to the passionate performances of Lee Je-hoon and Yoon Si-yoon, with the conflict between their characters drawing great interest from viewers. 'Taxi Driver 3' addresses the social issue of used car crimes, delivering a strong message to its audience.
