Record-breaking heavy rains have caused severe flooding damage in the southern region of Thailand. In response, SM Entertainment's Thai joint venture SM True and the group Super Junior have launched donation activities. On the 28th, SM True announced through its official SNS account that it had donated 3 million baht to the Thai Red Cross Society. Super Junior additionally donated 1 million baht.

The southern region of Thailand has experienced over 100 deaths due to heavy rains occurring for the first time in 300 years. Amid this damage, Super Junior is preparing for their 20th anniversary world tour "SUPER SHOW 10" concerts held on the 29th and 30th at the Impact Arena in Bangkok. They plan to deliver messages of comfort to local fans through their performances.

Along with the donation news, Super Junior expressed, "We extend our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to all residents who have suffered great damage," and added, "We deeply appreciate the efforts of all related organizations and volunteers dedicated to the recovery and support of the affected areas, and we sincerely hope for the swift restoration of the damaged regions and the safety of everyone."

Meanwhile, singer G-Dragon also donated funds to aid recovery from the high-rise apartment fire disaster in Hong Kong. On the 29th, his agency Galaxy Corporation announced that G-Dragon donated 1 million Hong Kong dollars, approximately 200 million Korean won, to the Hong Kong Tai Po Wong Fuk Court Support Fund. This fund is operated by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for disaster relief, and demand for support has surged following the large fire on the 26th at the Wong Fuk Court apartment complex in the Tai Po area of northern Hong Kong, which resulted in at least 128 deaths.

Regarding the use of the donation, G-Dragon reportedly requested support for firefighters and volunteers conducting rescue and recovery activities at the fire site. Additionally, the Jusfice Foundation, where G-Dragon serves as honorary chairman, plans to provide psychological support to rescue personnel in the future.
