
Lee Ji-hyun, formerly of the group Jewelry, revealed that she has filed two lawsuits because she has not received child support from her ex-husband. In a video released on June 1st on the YouTube channel 'Kim Hyun-sook's Mukgosalja,' Lee Ji-hyun shared this information during a conversation with her neighborhood friend Kim Hyun-sook. Lee Ji-hyun expressed her dissatisfaction, saying, "I am not receiving child support."
During the conversation, Kim Hyun-sook lamented the difficult situation, saying, "We have to earn money, take care of the children, and have nowhere to leave them." She emphasized Lee Ji-hyun's struggles by mentioning, "Ji-hyun has two children, and the eldest is going through puberty." Kim Hyun-sook expressed anger, stating, "People who do not pay child support are not human."
Kim Hyun-sook explained that her own son misunderstands his father as a pitiful person and claimed, "Child support was set at 1 million won, but I have only received it twice so far." She added, "I never received living expenses during the marriage."
Lee Ji-hyun said, "To the children, I told them that their dad is still their dad and has an obligation to pay child support, but he is not doing so," and added, "It's very hard for me to handle this alone." She told her children, "Be frugal. There's no need to be anxious. Mom will work even harder."
Kim Hyun-sook pointed out the difficulties after divorce, saying, "No matter how much they say they will pay during an uncontested divorce, it often doesn't happen." Lee Ji-hyun confessed, "I have filed lawsuits twice over child support," and said, "It's not easy to bring up the topic of marriage again."
Lee Ji-hyun debuted in 2001 as a member of the group Jewelry. After two divorces, she is currently raising one son and one daughter on her own. Recently, she passed the national beauty license exam and showed her transition to becoming a hair designer. Lee Ji-hyun revealed her sense of responsibility as a mother, saying, "I passed the written test on the first try, but I failed the practical test seven times. It took me one year and three months."
Kim Hyun-sook praised Lee Ji-hyun's determination, saying, "It's not easy to switch from being an entertainer to a professional." Lee Ji-hyun honestly shared, "It's still difficult to talk about these hardships." The two showed a desire to maintain a positive mindset despite sharing their struggles.
