
Jennie of the group BLACKPINK has set a new milestone as a K-pop solo artist. On the 1st (local time), the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that "Extra L (feat. Doechii)," a track from Jennie's first solo full-length album Ruby and its pre-release single, has been certified Gold.
With this certification, Jennie now holds a total of four RIAA certifications, the most among K-pop solo artists. Previously, Jennie received a Platinum certification for the collaboration track "One Of The Girls" with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, and Gold certifications for "Mantra" and "Like JENNIE."
Notably, Jennie earned RIAA certifications for three songs from her first full-length album Ruby alone. The RIAA grants certifications based on digital single and album sales, with Gold awarded for over 500,000 units, Platinum for over 1 million units, Multi-Platinum for over 2 million units, and Diamond for over 10 million units sold.
