According to the distributor Walt Disney Company Korea, as of 12:22 AM on that day, "Zootopia 2" recorded a total audience of 3,140,786. This matches the box office speed of last year's top foreign film "Inside Out 2."
The box office performance of "Zootopia 2" is 14 days faster compared to the previous work "Elemental" and 15 days faster than "Moana 2." This reflects high audience interest and raises expectations for the final box office results.
This film is a sequel to "Zootopia," which was released in 2016, and tells the story of protagonists Judy and Nick diving into a new world to chase the mysterious snake Gary. The film is rated for all ages and has a running time of 108 minutes.
Currently, "Zootopia 2" holds the number one spot with a real-time reservation rate of 59%. The second place is "Avatar: Fire and Ash," which is scheduled to premiere domestically on the 17th as the world's first screening.
