
BTS member V (Taehyung) sparked an explosive reaction among Indian fans with a 20-second dance video released on the BangtanTV YouTube channel on the 1st. Indian media outlet Free Press Journal reported that V's dance video gained huge popularity on social media. Indian ARMY fans especially responded with comments like "Unbelievable" and "Is this for real?"

The dance V performed was the choreography from the trending Indian challenge "Ice Cream Khaungi, Kashmir Jaungi." This challenge originated from the 2014 Indian film The Xposs's OST and has recently regained massive popularity on Indian social media. Free Press Journal analyzed, "Although there are thousands of cover videos, V's version caused an immediate sensation not only because of his star power but also due to the unexpected crossover between K-pop and Indian internet culture."
In the vlog, V used hip-hop background music instead of the original song but performed the choreography exactly as in the challenge. Immediately after the video's release, Indian ARMY expressed shock and admiration. One fan commented, "Bring ice cream for Mr. Handsome (Icecream lao re Mr Handsome k liye)," while another asked, "Is he really dancing like that?" Fans left remarks such as "Those abs... oh my god... I'm not okay," and "Hyung, I dropped food from my mouth while eating. He's driving me crazy."
The vlog also showed V's rigorous self-management through exercise, running, and rope climbing. Particularly, the scene where he finds a rope while jogging on the beach and immediately climbs it reminded fans of his Special Duty Team (SDT) training experience before his military discharge, drawing admiration.
