BTS has risen to the top of K-pop on Spotify. On the 4th, the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify announced its 2025 Wrapped year-end report. This report is based on streaming data over the past year and ranks the most loved artists, songs, and albums worldwide and in South Korea.
BTS was selected as the most streamed Korean artist globally this year. Notably, they maintained their top position without full group activities this year. Jungkook ranked 8th in the "Global K-pop Artist Streaming" category, proving his unique influence as the only male solo artist within the top 10. Jungkook recently surpassed 10 billion cumulative streams for his solo songs released under his own name, marking a first for a Korean solo artist.
The members of BTS also stood out in the global most streamed K-pop songs rankings. Jimin's solo second album "MUSE" title track "Who" ranked 3rd, Jin's solo second album "Echo" title track "Don't Say You Love Me" placed 4th, and Jungkook's solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" ranked 8th. "Who" and "Don't Say You Love Me" were ranked 26th and 42nd respectively among the most played songs worldwide this year.
BTS's influence was clearly evident domestically as well. Jimin, Jin, and Jungkook took 1st, 3rd, and 4th place respectively in the 2025 Korea Wrapped year-end "Most Streamed Artists" list. Jimin notably held the top spot for three consecutive years. Not only the three members in the top 10 but also the group ranked 11th, V was 14th, and J-Hope was positioned at 39th.
Their music performance was also overwhelming. Jimin's "Who," Jin's "Don't Say You Love Me," Jungkook's "Seven (feat. Latto)," V and PARK HYO SHIN's duet "Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)," the title track "Standing Next to You" from Jungkook's solo album "GOLDEN," and Jimin's "Be Mine" from "MUSE" ranked 1st to 6th among the "Most Streamed Songs Domestically." Following these, Jin's solo first album "Happy" title track "Running Wild" ranked 11th, Jungkook's solo single "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)" was 13th, and Jimin's solo album "FACE" title track "Like Crazy" placed 14th. Additionally, all tracks from Jimin's second full album "MUSE" entered the rankings.
BTS plans to release a new album next spring and embark on a large-scale world tour. Recently, they have been sharing updates on their full group work and individual activities through the global fan platform Weverse. They are communicating with fans in various ways, raising anticipation for their 2026 activities.
