Park Na-rae's side has explained the reason for transferring 20 million won to former managers. On the 7th, the agency Anpark stated, "The former managers kept talking about money, so Park Na-rae's mother sent it," adding, "From the mother's perspective, she did it out of concern because her daughter was having a hard time." They continued, "Park Na-rae was unaware," and "This was not something that occurred during the settlement process."
On the same day, a media outlet reported that Park Na-rae's mother transferred 10 million won each to two former managers around 10 p.m. on the 4th, totaling 20 million won. This transfer coincided with the day reports about Park Na-rae's alleged abuse of power and injury surfaced. Park Na-rae's mother is known as the representative of Anpark and is said to have a close relationship with the managers.
The transferred amount was made without prior consultation, and after receiving the money, the two managers returned it and protested. Park Na-rae's legal representative delivered a settlement agreement on the 5th, but the managers rejected it. According to Dispatch, the two managers filed a provisional seizure application on real estate at the Seoul Western District Court on the 3rd. On the afternoon of the 5th, they filed a complaint against Park Na-rae at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul, accusing her of special injury, defamation by false facts, and violation of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
The managers claim workplace harassment, proxy prescriptions, and unpaid progress fees, preparing a lawsuit seeking damages worth 100 million won. They allege being forced to be on "24-hour standby," running errands for snacks, cleaning up after parties, and being coerced into drinking, stating that they were used as domestic helpers. They maintain that they resigned because they could no longer endure Park Na-rae's tyranny.
Park Na-rae is also suspected of receiving illegal medical treatment. Regarding this, her side explained that they believed the so-called "injection aunt" was a medical professional. They clarified that accompanying her on the overseas filming of the 2023 MBC variety show "I Live Alone" was due to their friendship, not for medical purposes.
This incident could seriously affect Park Na-rae's entertainment activities, drawing significant attention to future developments. The managers' complaints and damage claims will proceed through legal procedures. Park Na-rae's side is actively explaining these allegations and appears to be preparing for legal responses.
Park Na-rae has been actively participating in various broadcasting programs recently, and the impact of this incident on her career is a noteworthy situation. In the entertainment industry, discussions are expected to continue regarding what consequences this case will have on Park Na-rae's image and activities.
Park Na-rae's side has stated that they plan to resolve the conflict with the managers promptly and focus on future activities. There are also voices hoping that the truth of the incident will be revealed and that all parties involved will find an amicable resolution.
