Zero Base One extends activities by 2 months... complete group until March

The group Zerobaseone has extended their activity period by two months ahead of their disbandment. Their agency WakeOne announced on the 1st, "All nine members of Zerobaseone have unanimously agreed to extend their full-group activities by two months." This decision was made out of the members' affection for the team and to repay the love from their fans. Zerobaseone was originally scheduled to end activities in January next year but will continue until March.

During the extended period, they plan to hold the '2025 Zerobaseone World Tour - Here & Now' encore concert and release new music. Although the possibility of an extension had been continuously discussed ahead of Zerobaseone's disbandment, fans have expressed regret over the extension being limited to just two months. The nine members belong to different agencies as a project group, making the negotiations regarding the extension complicated.

Zerobaseone is a nine-member multinational boy group formed through the 2023 Mnet audition program 'Boys Planet.' They received significant attention upon debut and became the first K-pop group to record six consecutive million-selling albums, including their debut album and their first full-length album 'Never Say Never,' released last September. They established themselves as a global trend, winning rookie and main awards consecutively at award ceremonies since their debut. In 2023, they also earned the title of 'Rookie Award All-Kill.'

Zerobaseone has gained immense love not only domestically but also overseas, becoming a central figure of the 5th generation of K-pop. They showed rapid growth in a short period and attracted great interest from global fans. However, the two-month extension leaves fans with significant disappointment. While the decision to say a final farewell through an encore concert and new music release is seen as the best choice, the confirmed disbandment date deepens the sense of regret.

Zerobaseone plans to conclude their journey with a concert and new music release ahead of their disbandment. As a project group, they left a short but strong impression, and attention is focused on whether they will end on a high note. Fans hope to create precious memories through their final activities, and interest in Zerobaseone's future path is intensifying.
