The group izna is expanding its global activities through an interview with Italy's leading weekly magazine PANORAMA.
izna (Mai, Bang Ji-min, Coco, Yoo Sa-rang, Choi Jung-eun, Jung Se-bi) recently conducted an interview with PANORAMA, the first Italian media outlet to extensively cover the Korean Wave. The magazine introduced izna as "the discovery K-POP has been waiting for," highlighting their musical journey.
PANORAMA praised izna for winning the FAVORITE RISING ARTIST award at the 2025 MAMA AWARDS and for achieving a more mature leap with their second mini-album Not Just Pretty. The magazine noted that despite being rookies, izna is a group that clearly understands the direction they aim for.
In the interview, izna members said about the Not Just Pretty album, "As the album title suggests, we wanted to show a different side from our previous activities by going beyond the frame of being 'pretty' and revealing various charms. Through this album, we aimed to showcase the broad spectrum that izna possesses."
Regarding the challenges and concerns they face with each comeback, izna responded, "Rather than feeling the burden of overcoming difficulties, we have a strong desire to take on new concepts. We prepare for comebacks with joy, expanding our identity through various challenges."
Starting with their debut album N/a, izna has continued to explore diverse musical styles with SIGN, BEEP, and their recently released second mini-album Not Just Pretty. They have been praised for their multi-layered charm that cannot be defined by a single category. In particular, their title track Mamma Mia achieved their first win on a terrestrial music broadcast. Within just one year of debut, they surpassed 100 million cumulative streams on the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify, proving their global presence.
izna plans to continue active promotions and maintain connections with their fans.
