
The "2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan," featuring a full lineup of K-pop artists, will be held on December 13 and 14 at the National Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. This festival, under the theme "Golden Road," will showcase the history and development of K-pop. It is regarded as a meaningful event that reflects on how K-pop gained popularity worldwide beyond Japan.
This festival marks the first K-pop concert held at the National Stadium in Tokyo, where approximately 60,000 spectators will interact with the artists on site. The MCs will be actor and singer Lee Jun-young and Jang Won-young from the global girl group IVE. They plan to introduce the dazzling performances of K-pop artists and engage with the audience.
On the first day, December 13, ATEEZ, ITZY, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, NMIXX, BOY NEXT DOOR, RISE, EYELET, Kickflip, Hearts to Hearts, and I.D.I.T will perform. On the second day, December 14, Yunho, Stray Kids, NiziU, IVE, ANTHEM, Psycus, Zerobaseone, TO1, NCT WISH, NEX7, IZ*ONE, KIKI, and CORTIS will take the stage.
Especially at the "2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan," a special stage called the "K-pop Golden Stage" will be presented. This stage features next-generation artists performing songs by legendary K-pop artists who have illuminated the genre, with a large number of 5th generation K-pop artists participating. On the first day, RISE and Hearts to Hearts will appear on the "Golden Stage," delivering a powerful impact to the audience. RISE is beloved by K-pop fans worldwide for their unique genre called "emotional pop," while Hearts to Hearts captivates global fans with their highly polished teamwork.
On the second day, the globally spotlighted girl group IZ*ONE and the boy group CORTIS, which won multiple rookie awards at various music award shows immediately after debut, will perform on the "Golden Stage." IZ*ONE is known for their overwhelming performances, and CORTIS entered the main US Billboard chart with their debut album alone.
Additionally, on the second day, the unit "MEDANCE," formed by TO1's Youngjae, Jihoon, and Kyungmin, along with NEX7's Tomoya, Yuu, and Haru, will present a special collaboration stage. They are expected to thrill the audience with their powerful performance.
The "2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan" will be broadcast on KBS 2TV at 8:30 PM on December 30. This festival is anticipated to once again establish the status of K-pop.
