The group EXO is set to make a comeback in 2026 with their new eighth full-length album, "REVERXE."
On December 8 at midnight, their agency SM Entertainment released a cinematic trailer for the album on EXO's official YouTube channel, raising fans' anticipation. At the end of the video, the album title "REVERXE" was revealed, along with the message, "The day we truly become one, a new world opens," hinting at EXO's unique narrative universe.
"REVERXE" is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2026. With this album, EXO promises a more mature musical completion and deeper communication with their fans. Prior to this, on December 14, a fan meeting titled "EXO'verse" will be held at Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon, marking an event where they will meet fans in person after a long time. The fan meeting will take place twice, at 2 PM and 7 PM, and is expected to serve as the starting point for their new album activities.
The album will also include the new winter song "I'm Home," released last winter, continuing the warm atmosphere that followed the emotional impact of their previous work, "First Snow." The full music video for "I'm Home" will be released on December 14 at midnight, featuring a lyrical melody harmonized with the members' sweet vocals.
Recently, due to some members' individual activities and unavoidable circumstances, EXO is preparing the fan meeting stage as a six-member unit. However, they are sending a strong message of unity through their fan community and social media, symbolizing their return as a complete group. The members expressed their commitment, stating, "Under the slogan 'WE ARE ONE EXO,' we will always be with our fans," and plan to reconnect with fans worldwide through various activities in the future.
