
Singer Nam Woo-hyun successfully completed the first performance of the musical "Sugar." On December 14th at 2:30 PM, Nam Woo-hyun met with the audience as Jo (Josephine) at the Seoul KEPCO Art Center Grand Theater in the musical "Sugar." The musical "Sugar" is based on the classic comedy film "Some Like It Hot," which has been loved worldwide. Set during the Prohibition era of 1929, the story humorously depicts the chaotic events that unfold when two jazz musicians accidentally witness a gang murder and disguise themselves as women to join an all-female band in order to save their lives.
Nam Woo-hyun passionately portrayed Jo (Josephine), a romantic saxophonist who cross-dresses to survive in "Sugar." He overwhelmed the stage by fully demonstrating his solid vocal skills as the main vocalist of Infinite, a leading figure in K-pop, along with his acting skills honed through numerous works. In particular, Nam Woo-hyun enhanced the immersion of the play by expressing Jo's sharp intelligence and delightful twist charm with deep acting.
Nam Woo-hyun showcased a unique acting transformation with bold makeup and seductive gestures in his striking cross-dressing role. His performance drew enthusiastic applause from the audience.
