The group EXO will officially resume activities by releasing their 8th full-length album, 'REVERXE,' on January 19, 2026.
Their agency, SM Entertainment, announced that EXO's new album, their first in about two and a half years, will contain a total of nine tracks, and both the album and digital releases will be available simultaneously at 6 p.m. on that day. The new album 'REVERXE' revisits the group's early debut universe and signals the evolution of the 'EXO Universe,' carrying the message, "On the day we truly become one, a new world opens."
In December, the fan meeting 'EXO'verse' was successfully held over two days at Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon. The event received enthusiastic responses through performances by members reunited after a long time and interactions with fans, greatly raising anticipation for the new album release.
EXO has been communicating with fans by sequentially releasing the album pre-order announcement, logo images, and trailers through their official SNS channels. In particular, the official SNS accounts have posted teasers for the new album with the hashtag "#REVERXE," heightening the comeback atmosphere.
Starting with this album release, EXO plans to actively participate in various music shows, content, and events both domestically and internationally, drawing focused attention from fans and music lovers. Meanwhile, since their debut, EXO has established themselves as a leading K-pop group based on numerous hit songs and global influence, and their comeback is attracting attention as a step toward opening a new era.
