Singer Kim Tae-won revealed on a broadcast program that he earned 100 million won in royalties thanks to IU. Kim Tae-won appeared on the MBC entertainment program "Radio Star" aired on the 17th and shared stories related to his song "Never Ending Story," which IU remade.

Kim Tae-won said that IU contacted him first and highly praised her genius. He revealed that the royalty settlement cycle is "once every four months."

Kim Tae-won spoke about the renewed love for the music of his band Boohwal, saying, "It is an honor above all for the music of an old team to be played and loved again." He also mentioned that about 300 songs are registered with the Copyright Association.

Kim Tae-won said, "I made songs for a year, but later found out it was Tanaka," and added, "The vocal ability was lacking.
