Kwon Mina showed a confident response to malicious commenters. On December 14, Kwon Mina posted a photo on her Instagram with the phrase, "Thoughts and speech are free." The revealed photo included a direct message sent by a netizen to Kwon Mina. The message said, "So you're still alive. How does it feel to have ruined the group's comeback?"
Kwon Mina captured the message and replied, "Only the people who were at the scene know the truth, and most don't, so everyone can judge me in various ways and think like that." She continued, "Yes, there were times when I felt miserable, wronged, tormented, and wanted to die. I wasn't in my right mind," reflecting on her past.
Mentioning her recent happy life, Kwon Mina said, "These days, I'm living very happily. I have reasons and goals to live for, and it's fun." She also emphasized that her goals have become clear, saying, "I can't live my life the way you want." She added, "I had nothing to do on the subway on my way home, so I decided to reply," and sent a message of encouragement to the netizen, saying, "I hope your life is always happy as well. Thank you for taking the time to write such a long message."
Kwon Mina debuted in 2012 as a member of AOA and gained popularity with hit songs such as "Heart Attack," "Bingle Bangle," "Like a Cat," and "Short Skirt." However, in 2020, after Kwon Mina claimed she was bullied within the team, AOA was engulfed in internal conflict and eventually disbanded.

This marks her first activity in seven years since leaving AOA. Ha Min-gi is preparing to debut in the first half of next year as part of the boy group Air100.
