SHINee's Minho, on the 8th anniversary of the late Jonghyun's passing, "I always love hyung" heartfelt tribute

Minho of the group SHINee expressed his longing for the late Jonghyun. On the 18th, Minho posted a photo of Jonghyun on his personal SNS with the phrase, "I always love you, hyung." On the same day, SHINee's official account also shared a photo of Jonghyun during his lifetime with the message, "We always love you." Jonghyun passed away on December 18, 2017, at the age of 27.

Since debuting with SHINee in 2008, Jonghyun received great love by releasing numerous hit songs such as "Replay," "Love Like Oxygen," "Lucifer," and "Juliette." He also pursued a solo career from 2015, gaining recognition for his musical talents by writing and composing songs like IU's "Mood Indigo" and Lee Hi's "Breathe." Additionally, from 2014 to 2017, he showcased his versatility as an artist by working as a DJ on MBC FM4U's "Blue Night Jonghyun."

Marking the 8th anniversary of Jonghyun's passing, Minho paid tribute to him by using his song "Warm Winter" as background music. In the released photo, Jonghyun is seen wearing a checkered jacket, focused on the shoot, leaving a vivid memory for fans. Jonghyun's suicide note included the phrase, "Depression swallowed me," which brought great shock and sorrow to fans both domestically and internationally.

In 2018, Jonghyun's family established the public interest foundation "Bitna" to support young artists without agencies using the royalties left by Jonghyun. SHINee members have shown their remembrance of him every year on his birthday and anniversary. Last April, Minho left a message on Jonghyun's birthday saying, "Happy birthday. I always miss you."

Although eight years have passed since Jonghyun's death, the memories of him by the members and fans continue. Fans expressed their longing through SNS comments such as "The brightest Son Jae in my heart," "Always loving and remembering you," and "Forever in my heart."

SHINee continues their activities feeling the absence of Jonghyun, and his music and influence are still remembered by many. As an important member of SHINee, Jonghyun's musical legacy will continue to impact fans and artists in the future.

Meanwhile, SHINee member Key was recently involved in the "Jusaimo" gate. SM Entertainment confirmed that Key received medical treatment at a hospital in Gangnam-gu recommended by an acquaintance. Key apologized, saying, "I was confident that I could keep myself away from such matters, but that thought made me less wise in looking around. I am very sorry and ashamed to the many people who trusted and supported me."

This incident has drawn more attention as it coincides with the 8th anniversary of SHINee, and fans are paying attention to the members' activities while mourning Jonghyun. Jonghyun's music and memory continue to hold great meaning for fans and members alike.
