In the 29th season of "I am SOLO," Youngsoo and Kwangsoo clashed over Oksun. In the episode aired on December 17th on ENA and SBS Plus's real dating program "I am SOLO," the second date selection took place, making the love lines even more complicated.

On the morning of the third day of the broadcast, Youngsook shared with her roommate the conversations she had with the single men the previous day while doing her makeup. Youngsook said, "Youngsoo said, 'It's true that Oksun is my first choice, but I'm not obsessed with her.'" In response, Jungsook expressed disappointment, saying, "I thought Youngsoo liked me..." Youngsook continued, "I also talked with Youngchul, and he said he thought people who like traveling are crazy. That came off as stubborn," which resonated with the other single women.

At the same time, in the common living room, Youngsik, who had received zero votes, held a talent show. Youngsik had prepared a dance to Apink's "Mr. Chu" for the self-introduction time but was unable to perform it at the time, so he made up for it belatedly. Youngchul called Youngsook out for a conversation, and the two bonded over stories about their nephews. Youngsook asked Youngchul, who dreams of having five children, "If you can't have children, would you consider divorce?" Youngchul replied, "The priority is the couple!" and explained, "It means loving each other enough to have five children." Through the conversation with Youngchul, Youngsook said, "It was definitely different from yesterday. It sparked my curiosity."

Sangchul went to Youngja and conveyed the situation that he was her second choice and Oksun's third choice. Youngja declared her straightforward intention, saying, "My top pick is Sangchul!" However, Sangchul appealed to Oksun, saying, "I want to have a one-on-one date," but Oksun indirectly declined, saying, "If the woman chooses, I would pick Youngsoo." Sangchul asked, "Please honestly tell me if I am in your heart," and Oksun replied, "Among the three, you are in my heart, but my first and second choices are others. Still, I think I would regret not having a one-on-one date at least once," leaving some room.

Youngsoo called Oksun out in front of Kwangsoo. When Oksun complained to Youngsoo, "I want to meet a caring person, but you don't seem like that," Youngsoo appealed, "I'm actually a pretty good guy. If you don't waver, my true value will shine even more." Then, the new date selection took place. Sangchul hesitated between Oksun and Youngja but chose Youngja. Next, Kwangsoo chose Oksun, and Youngchul chose Youngsook. Youngsik shyly picked Hyunsook, and Youngho stood next to Youngsook. Youngsook could not hide her joy as her desired first choice Youngho and second choice Youngchul were confirmed for dates. Youngsoo chose Oksun as promised.

During the date, Oksun went to a sashimi restaurant with Youngsoo and Kwangsoo. During the meal, Oksun used a cute tone with Youngsoo, and Kwangsoo showed discomfort, asking, "Did you usually talk like this outside?" Grilled prawns were served, and Youngsoo and Kwangsoo peeled the shells and handed them to Oksun. Youngsoo even put side dishes on Oksun's plate, joking, "My nickname is Choi Soo-jong of Yangcheon-gu." Kwangsoo declared, "I don't create a second choice. I'm ONLY for Oksun."

Later, in a one-on-one conversation, Oksun confessed to Youngsoo, "Going on a one-on-one date with you is my priority." Youngsoo smiled and said, "I think you like me more than Kwangsoo." Shortly after, sitting across from Oksun, Kwangsoo said, "I know without you saying it. You like me more, right?" He then asked, "If your interest narrows down to one person, you won't poke the other person's arm, right?" referring to Oksun touching Youngsoo's arm. The 3MCs Defconn, Lee Yi-kyung, and Song Hae sighed at Kwangsoo's remark.

In front of the producers, Kwangsoo said, "This was my strong move to not just say sweet things to you," asserting that he was Oksun's first pick. On the other hand, Oksun confessed, "Instinctively, my feelings are stronger for Youngsoo."

The preview showed Youngchul and Youngho competing for Youngsook's attention and Youngja boldly approaching Sangchul, saying, "Let's meet, sister." It also included an interview where Youngsook expressed disappointment with Youngho, saying, "I was really upset," raising curiosity for the next broadcast. Finally, childhood photos of the 29th season's "married couples" were revealed, and Defconn guessed, "The older woman is Oksun, and the younger man is Youngsoo," but gave up on guessing, saying, "Hyunsook looks similar, and so does Sunja."
