
Actor Shim Hyung-tak took on the roles of manager and stylist during his son Haru's commercial shoot. On the December 17th broadcast of KBS 2TV's "The Return of Superman," Shim Hyung-tak's son Haru was shown filming his first solo commercial. Haru was selected as a diaper model and participated in the shoot.
At the filming site, Shim Hyung-tak introduced himself by saying, "This is Haru's first solo commercial shoot," and referred to himself as "Manager and stylist Shim Hyung-tak for model Shim Haru." He emphasized his background as a former model, stating, "I started as a model in the 45th class in 1997 and have continued until now." Before the shoot, Shim Hyung-tak carefully guided his son's expressions and poses, checking Haru's condition and outfit in detail.
Haru impressed everyone by naturally performing the poses he practiced with his father. Shim Hyung-tak expressed his gratitude as a father, saying, "It's truly a blessing that a 10-month-old Haru is getting commercial offers." He also showed his dedication by personally preparing lunch boxes and drinks for the filming staff.
On the day of the shoot, Shim Hyung-tak appeared at the set carrying Haru. He greeted the staff, saying, "Please take good care of our Haru." As a stylist, he chose Haru's outfit and joked, "Haru's charm is his chubby cheeks. How about dressing him in tight clothes?" which brought smiles to everyone.
Once filming began, Haru smiled and posed just as he had practiced with his father. The cast watching in the studio admired, "Haru really seems to have a naturally gentle temperament." Haru flawlessly executed various poses and received praise from the commercial director and staff, who said, "He seems born for this," and "He's the best model."
After the shoot ended successfully, Shim Hyung-tak proudly said, "I think Haru was perfect today. He struck every pose and did very well."
Meanwhile, Shim Hyung-tak completed his marriage registration in 2022 with his Japanese wife Saya, who is 18 years younger. They held wedding ceremonies in Japan in July 2023 and in Korea in August 2023. The couple has a son, Haru. Although it was reported that Haru recently signed six baby product commercials with total earnings exceeding 500 million won, Shim Hyung-tak denied this, calling it "exaggerated fake news."
This commercial shoot captured a special moment between Shim Hyung-tak and Haru, showcasing the harmony of a father's devotion and his son's talent.
