The "2025 KBS Entertainment Awards" will be held on the 20th at 9:20 PM in the KBS New Building Public Hall. This ceremony, broadcast live on KBS 2TV, brings together entertainment programs and cast members that have brought laughter and emotion to viewers throughout the year, continuing the reputation as the representative festival of K-entertainment.
This year's Entertainment Awards focuses on the keyword "K," highlighting the achievements of KBS entertainment at the center of globally recognized K-entertainment and K-content. It features a comprehensive lineup from long-loved programs such as "Gag Concert," "1 Night 2 Days," "Immortal Songs," and "The Return of Superman," to new shows like "Crazy Rich Korean," "Going Affection, Coming Affection Lee Min-jung," and "Pursuing Old Friendships," creating a festival of Korean entertainment that everyone can enjoy together.
The "Viewer's Choice Best Program Award," decided by real-time voting on the day of the live broadcast, is drawing attention to whether "Immortal Songs," which has won for three consecutive years, will maintain its throne or if a new program will shake up the competition.
The MCs are K-trrot singer Lee Chan-won, beloved by all generations, actress Lee Min-jung, and entertainer Moon Se-yoon, who will showcase exceptional chemistry. Lee Min-jung will host a terrestrial year-end awards ceremony for the first time in her 27-year career, drawing attention with her elegant dress.
The congratulatory stage will feature a special collaboration by KBS's top entertainment figures Kim Jong-min, Boom, Park Seo-jin, Shin Yoon-seung, and Park Cheol-gyu. Duet performances by Young Tak and Kim Yeon-ja, 10CM and Song Eun-i, Lee Seung-gi's tribute to Cho Yong-pil, and Forestella's high-class harmony will delight viewers. Many KBS entertainment cast members and notable figures who shone in 2025 will attend as presenters, elevating the atmosphere on site.
The grand prize nominees form a fierce competition blending veterans and newcomers. The "1 Night 2 Days" team and Kim Jong-min, who has won the grand prize three times individually, Kim Sook, known for multiple works including "Problematic Men on the Rooftop," "The Boss Has Donkey Ears," and "Pursuing Old Friendships," Lee Chan-won, challenging for the grand prize for the second consecutive year following last year, and Jeon Hyun-moo, who has won the "Entertainer of the Year Award" for four consecutive years, are all nominated.
Additionally, Kim Young-hee, who led the launch of "Malja Show" beyond the signature corner "Malja Grandma" on "Gag Concert," Park Bo-gum, who has maintained a 10-year relationship with KBS through "The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile" and "Music Bank World Tour," and Boom, challenging for his first grand prize with "Newly Released Ppongstorang" and "Going Affection, Coming Affection Lee Min-jung," have newly joined the list of nominees.
