
The "2025 KBS Entertainment Awards" will be held on the 20th at the KBS New Building Public Hall. The ceremony will be broadcast live on KBS 2TV starting at 9:20 PM. The MCs will be Lee Chan-won, Lee Min-jung, and Moon Se-yoon. Lee Min-jung will host a terrestrial year-end awards ceremony for the first time in her 27-year career, drawing attention with her elegant dress. The three MCs will showcase exceptional chemistry as they lead the festival featuring celebrities active in various programs.
The "2025 KBS Entertainment Awards" will include long-loved programs such as "Gag Concert," "2 Days & 1 Night," "Immortal Songs," and "The Return of Superman," as well as new variety shows like "Crazy Rich Korean," "Going and Coming Lee Min-jung," and "Pursuing Old Friendships." It will create a stage for Korea's representative entertainment festival that all generations can relate to and enjoy.
The "Viewer's Choice Best Program Award," decided by real-time voting on the day of the live broadcast, is drawing attention to whether "Immortal Songs," which has won for three consecutive years, will continue its streak or if a new program will change the game.
The congratulatory performances will feature a special collaboration of KBS's flagship entertainment figures Kim Jong-min, Boom, Park Seo-jin, Shin Yoon-seung, and Park Cheol-gyu, as well as duets by Young Tak and Kim Yeon-ja, 10CM and Song Eun-i, a tribute stage to Cho Yong-pil by Lee Seung-gi, and the high-class harmony of Forestella. KBS entertainment cast members and the hottest figures who made 2025 a blazing year will attend as presenters in large numbers.
The grand prize nominees are divided between seasoned entertainment representatives and entertainers who have proven new sensibilities. Kim Jong-min has won the grand prize three times both with the "2 Days & 1 Night" team and individually. Kim Sook has been active in "Problematic Men on the Rooftop," "The Manager is a Donkey," and "Pursuing Old Friendships." Lee Chan-won is challenging for the grand prize for the second consecutive year following last year. Jeon Hyun-moo has won the "Entertainer of the Year Award" for four consecutive years.
Rookie nominees include Kim Young-hee, who led the launch of "Malja Show" beyond the flagship "Gag Concert" corner with the character "Malja Grandma," Park Bo-gum, who has maintained a 10-year relationship with KBS through "The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile" and "Music Bank World Tour," and Boom, who is challenging for his first grand prize with "Newly Released Ppongstorang" and "Going and Coming Lee Min-jung."
