Lim Young-woong fan club donates 3 million won for people with developmental disabilities


Singer Lim Young-woong's fan club is practicing positive influence through donation activities for the local community. The fan club "Pyeongtaek Woong Family" delivered a donation of 3 million won to Hapjeong Short-Term Care Center for the Disabled on December 16. This donation holds special meaning as it carries a message of support for people with developmental disabilities. The donation ceremony was attended by members of Pyeongtaek Woong Family, center users, and staff, sharing the warm spirit of the year-end season. A banner displayed the words "Sorry, I love you, I miss you, Thank you," conveying gratitude and solidarity.

Jung Kyung-ho, director of Hapjeong Short-Term Care Center for the Disabled, said, "The thoughtfulness of visiting us every year-end gives great strength to both users and staff," adding, "The donated funds will be used carefully to provide more stable care and improve the quality of life for the users." A representative of Pyeongtaek Woong Family stated, "We wanted to share Lim Young-woong's positive influence," and added, "Though it is a small effort, we hope it brings comfort and hope to someone's day."

Hapjeong Short-Term Care Center for the Disabled is a local welfare institution providing short-term care and support services for people with developmental disabilities. The center continues various supports for the safety and independence of its users. Additionally, Lim Young-woong's fan club "Hero Era Woonggijonggi" regularly donates monthly to the Korea Regional Welfare Volunteer Society. Woonggijonggi members continue volunteer activities delivering side dishes to elderly people living alone or with low income. Especially during the peak of the hot summer, they provided special support to help elderly people who had difficulty installing air conditioners to stay healthy through the season. On June 16, Lim Young-woong's birthday, Woonggijonggi members donated 5 million won to the Korea Regional Welfare Volunteer Society.

Anseong Volunteer Center announced that it received a donation of 5 million won from Lim Young-woong fan clubs (Anseong·Pyeongtaek Hero Era) for fire damage recovery. The donation ceremony was held at Mirinae St. Joseph's Charity Sisters, where the fire damage occurred. Members of Anseong·Pyeongtaek Hero Era gathered their sincerity to help neighbors struggling with the sudden fire to restore their daily lives.

Anseong Volunteer Center plans to use the entire 5 million won donation to purchase furniture such as wardrobes and drawers for those affected. The center aims to support rapid recovery from the damage through this. Director Kim Dong-sung said, "We deeply thank the members of Anseong·Pyeongtaek Hero Era for sharing warm kindness with neighbors in difficulty," and added, "The positive influence shown by Lim Young-woong's fan club is already well known nationwide, and we will do our best to ensure this precious donation greatly helps those affected to restore their daily lives."

Kim Hye-kyung, operator of Anseong·Pyeongtaek Hero Era, said, "We could not turn away after seeing neighbors facing difficult situations," and added, "We hope the donation will help with fire damage recovery so they can overcome hardships and quickly return to their daily lives." Anseong Volunteer Center is strengthening various activities to respond to disasters and accidents and plans to continuously expand local community interest and cooperation.
