【The Fact | Reporter Lee Na-rae】Group CORTIS has claimed first place for three consecutive weeks on the New Star Ranking of the weekly idol ranking site “FANNSTAR.”

In the “FANNSTAR” New Star Ranking vote for the second week of December, held from December 8 to 15, CORTIS secured 232,044 votes to take the top spot. KickFlip followed in second place with 58,950 votes, while UNIS ranked third with 52,186 votes.

The New Star Ranking is a vote to select promising rookie idols who debuted in 2023. According to “FANNSTAR,” artists who rank No.1 for five consecutive weeks (with cumulative votes exceeding 2.5 million) will receive digital billboard ads at 42 stations on Seoul Subway Line 2. Those who achieve ten consecutive weeks at No.1 (with cumulative votes exceeding 5 million) will be promoted through M Screen advertisements at Hongdae Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

In addition, special rewards are given to all artists who reach certain cumulative vote milestones regardless of ranking. Upon reaching 10 million votes, ads will be displayed on the Megabox digital billboard in Sinchon; at 30 million votes, on the Future Plaza digital billboard at Hongdae Station; and at 70 million votes, artists will receive special promotion at N Square in Hongdae Station.

Along with the news of CORTIS’s first-place finish, fans sent congratulatory messages via the official “FANNSTAR” SMS inbox. A fan with the nickname “Kkoko” wrote, “I love you, CORTIS.”
