
BTS's Jungkook set a new record on the US Billboard charts. According to the December 20 issue of the Global 200 chart, Jungkook's first solo debut song "Seven" ranked at number 150. Since its release in 2023, "Seven" climbed 15 spots from the previous week, marking its 125th week on the chart. Jungkook extended the record as the first and longest-charting Asian group and solo artist with 125 weeks on the chart.
Additionally, on the December 20 issue of the Global Excl. US chart, "Seven" rose 12 spots to number 81. Jungkook also became the first Asian solo artist to chart for 126 consecutive weeks on this chart. Through this, he demonstrated his presence as a global super pop star by maintaining a long-term presence on both major Billboard charts.
Jungkook's achievements do not stop there. On the newly established Billboard Korea Global K-Songs chart, "Seven" ranked 15th, "Standing Next To You" ranked 54th, "3D" ranked 66th, and "Still With You" ranked 97th. Jungkook placed four of his songs on the chart, showing his music's popularity in Asia.
On the Billboard Vietnam Hot 100 chart, "Seven" held the number one spot for nine consecutive weeks. This once again proved Jungkook's strong popularity in Asia. "Seven" also held number one for nine consecutive weeks on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart and for seven consecutive weeks on the Global 200 chart. It was the first Asian artist song to achieve simultaneous seven-week consecutive number one on both charts.
"Seven" debuted at number one on the Billboard main singles chart Hot 100 and stayed on the chart for 15 weeks. On the UK Official main singles chart Top 100, it debuted at number three and set a new record as the first K-pop solo artist song to remain on the chart for 14 weeks.
Jungkook continued his global popularity by setting new records on Spotify. His solo debut song "Seven" recorded over 13.3 million streams and ranked 60th on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart for December 5–11. "Seven" rose four spots from the previous week, demonstrating its strong streaming power. The song set a major record by charting for 126 weeks, the longest for an Asian solo artist song.
"Seven" became the first Asian artist song on Spotify to reach 2.69 billion streams and is approaching 2.7 billion streams. Jungkook's first solo album "GOLDEN" ranked 76th on the Spotify Weekly Top Albums Global chart for December 5–11. "GOLDEN" set a new record by charting for 110 weeks, the longest for an Asian solo artist album on this chart.
Jungkook's "GOLDEN" showed strong album power by recording 4.5 million daily streams on Spotify. It surpassed 6.5 billion cumulative streams, the highest for an Asian artist studio album on Spotify.
Jungkook's personal Spotify account set a new record as the fastest Asian artist and first K-pop solo artist to reach a combined 10.1 billion streams. In Spotify's recently released year-end report "Wrapped 2025," Jungkook ranked 8th in the Global Top K-Pop Artists of the Year category. He was the only artist in the top 10 and ranked first among male K-pop solo artists worldwide in streaming.
Jungkook also ranked 8th on the Global Top K-Pop Songs of the Year chart with his solo single "Seven," reaffirming his global popularity. These achievements contribute to elevating the status of K-pop, and his musical influence continues to expand.
